Ricky Calder says he knows it is up to him and other players who have been out of the Inverness Caledonian Thistle starting line-up to prove why they should be in the first 11 on a regular basis.

The defensive midfielder has found himself on the bench for all of Caley Thistle’s four league games so far this season.

But he is determined to show manager John Robertson why he is worthy of starting games in the Scottish Championship.

Calder, who started in the 4-0 North of Scotland Cup semi final win over Forres Mechanics on Tuesday night, says he is determined to take his chances of showing how he can help ICT challenge for promotion back to the top flight.
