Caberfeidh not out of relegation fight

Skye kept their flickering hopes of Premiership survival alive coming out on top with a 4-3 win over Caberfeidh at Castle Leod.

Despite closing the gap on Cabers to two points, it would take an unbelievable turn of events for the islanders to stay up at Cabers expense with the Strathpeffer side’s goal difference being 15 goals better than Skye’s with both teams having just one match still left.

Goals from Kevin Bartlett and Ruaraidh MacLeman gave Cabers a two goal lead with James Pringle reducing the deficit to one before the interval.

Skye took control after the break and within nine minutes of the restart goals from Ruaraidh MacLeod, Will Cowie and a second from Pringle took the island side in to a 4-2 lead.
