THE European Tour has announced that a dedicated shuttle bus service, operated by Stagecoach, will once again be used to help make it easier for spectators to both enter and exit the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open at Castle Stuart.

The service will run between Inverness bus station and the tournament venue from Pro-Am day on Wednesday 11th July through to the final round on Sunday 15th July.

It will be available at a nominal cost of £5 for an adult return and free of charge for senior citizens and under-16s. The pick-up and drop-off point will be the public car park at Castle Stuart.

Spectators can also take the half hourly schedule bus — numbers 11 or 11a — from Nairn to Inverness Airport and then take a shuttle service to the tournament. This will operate for the same £5 charge and with the same pick-up/drop-off point as the Inverness service.

"We are delighted to work with Stagecoach in offering this dedicated shuttle service from Inverness city centre and Inverness Airport to Castle Stuart," said European Tour championship director Peter Adams.

"Spectators coming from both directions will be able to leave the car at home and enjoy the championship and the social aspect of what is shaping up to be another superb event with a world class field."
