LGOWIT (Let’s get on with it together) staged the tournament at Merkinch Community Centre in Inverness to play seated bowls.

Attended by 50 people with 12 teams playing, it was the first time the tournament had taken place since October 2019.

Development officer Kirsteen Campbell says the tournament was a big success.

She says it was great to stage the tournament again after a four year wait.

She also says it was a brilliant day back together in person meeting lots of online friends from the last few years.

“It was exciting to finally be back in a room together after not being able to hold our annual boccia tournament since October 2019,” she said.

“It was lovely for our group members to meet their online friends in person from all over Highland.”
