BEAULY stormed to victory and were crowned Balliemore Cup winners after thrashing Inveraray in the final at Fort William.

The Inverness-shire club proved too good for their Argyll opponents as they raced into a 3–0 lead in the first half.

Euan MacCormick, Robbie Brindle and David Maclean scored the goals which gave Beauly the lead.

Lewis MacNicol pulled one back for Inveraray at the stroke of half time, but Ross Forbes scored three minutes into the second half before Maclean scored his second to kill the game off.

Beauly won the Balliemore Cup for the first time since 2015.
