Beauly and Strathglass face each other in Camanachd Cup

BEAULY will face Strathglass at home after they were paired together in the first round of this year’s Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup.

Inverness also have the benefit of home advantage as they welcome Glenorchy to the Highland Capital, while Caberfeidh host Bute in the only preliminary round tie. The winners of this one take on Oban Celtic in the next round

The full draw is as follows:

Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup preliminary round (Saturday 13th April) — Caberfeidh v Bute. First round (Saturday 4th May) — Beauly v Strathglass; Caberfeidh/Bute v Oban Celtic; Inverness v Glenorchy; Kilmallie v Glasgow Mid Argyll; Kilmory v Strachur; Taynuilt v Skye Camanachd

The triumphant six teams from the first round stage will then join the 10 teams from the Orion Premiership in the draw for the second round.

This year’s Camanachd Cup Final is set for An Aird, Fort William on Saturday 14th September.
