Academy boxers to take on UK's finest

Jason Russell is one of the Highland boxers competing at the British Championships.

Athletes from Highland Boxing Academy will take on the best fighters the UK has to offer after being selected to compete at the British Championships.

Inverness boxers Emily MacDonald and Jason Russell along with Nairn pugilist Lewis Urquhart will compete for Scotland in the ring at the event which takes place at Ravenscraig next weekend.

Each of the fighters have been ranked among the most promising young athletes in Scotland and are predicted to have high hopes of achieving success.
