Youths leave picnic bench in the middle of busy Barn Church Road in Culloden

Police are hunting youths who left a picnic bench blocking the middle of a busy Culloden road.

The garden furniture was left in Barn Church Road, opposite Barn Church, last night.

Local resident Owen Rawlins posted this video on his Facebook page to warn motorists and the matter has been reported to the police.

In his post he said: "It has been reported to the police and our backs were nearly put out shifting it. Drivers beware."

He added that at least three youths, including one wearing a blue hoodie, were spotted fleeing the scene.
