Wooden sculpture of the Gruffalo in Inverness is fixed!

YOUNGSTERS in Culloden were delighted this week to see the much-loved Gruffalo sculpture given its face back.

The local community reacted with shock earlier this year when the carving’s head was damaged, with the face removed altogether.

However Black Isle artist Iain Chalmers came to the rescue on Tuesday and fitted a freshly carved and brightly painted replacement.
