Police were called to a woman lying on one of the bridges over the River Ness complaining of stomach pains.

But when officers arrived to assist, 24-year-old Kamila Michalowicz, of Abban Street, Inverness, began swearing at them and "shouting incoherently", fiscal depute Emily Hood told Sheriff Ian Cruickshank.

Michalowicz appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and admitted behaving in a threatening manner and flailing her legs about as she struggled with the police on the Greig Street bridge on June 4, 2022.

Sentence was deferred until March 21 for a background report.
