Inverness woman sent abusive social media messages to partner

Sheriff Robert Frazer deferred sentence on Simona Berescu (36) for three months for her good behaviour after hearing the pair were divorcing.

Berescu admitted the offence which occurred from her Stephen’s Brae flat in Inverness on two occasions, on March 17 and 20.

Defence solicitor Rory Gowans said there was an ongoing family dispute which caused a conflict and prompted the abuse.

Berescu will be sentenced in September.
