A 21-year-old Inverness woman will be sentenced next week after admitting creating a disturbance in a city Chinese takeaway.

Lynda Love, of Tobermory Place, Inverness, is due to be dealt with for other cases at Inverness Sheriff Court on July 21.

After Love pleaded guilty to threatening or abusive behaviour and two assaults committed in Mr Rice on September 5, 2021, Sheriff Ian Cruickshank called for a background report before hearing the full facts.

The court heard that Love shouted and swore and made racist remarks to staff at the premises.

She then assaulted one woman by striking her on the body with a bag and assaulting a second staff member by slamming down a wooden counter which struck her on the body.
