Woman in Raigmore Hospital after Inverness crash

A YOUNG woman was treated for injuries in hospital after a two vehicle crash in Inverness on Monday evening.

The 18-year-old was removed by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital after the collision on Tower Road.

The road was closed and traffic was diverted.

Two fire appliances were called to the scene at 7.37pm but a spokeswoman said all persons were released prior to their arrival.

A police spokesperson said: ""Around 7.35pm on Monday, 20 March 2023, police received a report of a two vehicle crash on Tower Road, Inverness.

"An 18-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital.

"The road was closed until around 10.20pm to allow recovery of vehicles.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
