Police were called to an Inverness street to check on a woman who was slumped by the side of the road.

But Inverness Sheriff Court was told that officers quickly realised that Lisa MacLeod (35) was under the influence of drugs in Caulfield Road on September 18, 2020.

Fiscal depute David Barclay told Sheriff Sara Matheson that MacLeod, of Aird Road, Beauly, was searched and found to be in possession of cocaine and diazepam tablets with a total value of about £170.

She admitted possessing the illicit drugs and was fined £290.
