SARA Sinclair (27) from Insch has been spending her July hula hooping for at least 15 minutes a day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The challenge finishes tomorrow, but the primary school teacher has been at Belladrum since Thursday, adding an extra element to her efforts.

She has not let the festival slow her down and has managed at least 15 minutes each day, despite the boiling weather.

She said it was the hula hooping that caught her attention to do the challenge.

Miss Sinclair continued: "Obviously Macmillan do super work to support not only people with cancer but their families as well. The Macmillan nurses are such a fabulous resource to support alongside the NHS. With family and friends that have been affected by cancer I just think its such an important cause."

It is her fifth time at Belladrum.

"Belladrum has been amazing. I can say that hula hooping at Belladrum is not as easy as doing it at home," she continued.

"It's keeping on going. Some days its fine but the weather we've had in July has been so nice so on a hot day it's been really tricky, and on the days I've got bruises, I just do not want to do it. The first day of the challenge I made the mistake of doing it after a Chinese takeaway which was not a good idea at all but starting there made it a bit easier."
She has raised more than £500 so far and even managed to reach her goal by doing an hour of hooping one day.
