FOLLOWING from earlier success elsewhere an arts group will be launching Wasps Winter Markets and open day in Inverness later this month.

There will be open studios at Inverness Creative Academy, in Stephen’s Street, at the event which has been organised by Workshop and Artists Studio Provision Scotland (Wasps).

It will be on November 30, between 10am and 5pm and all are welcome.

A spokeswoman said: “Join us in the beautifully restored building, formerly Inverness Royal Academy, for this free one day event showcasing work from our studio holders and other makers from across Scotland.

“It is the perfect way to do your Christmas shopping whilst supporting artists, makers and independent businesses at the same time. All work will be for sale, bought directly from the artists, ranging from fine art to design and crafts.”
