PHOTOS: Wind damage in the Highlands sees an Inverness primary school closed and a substantial street sign fall onto a car on Harbour Road

Our photographers have been out and about witnessing the damage caused by high winds experienced across the region.

A sign, was blown over in the wind, at the ATS on Harbour Road and has fallen onto a white car in its car park.

A building at Dalneigh Primary School has been damaged after the winds blew the roof onto the school buildings.

The gusts of up to 43mph, that peaked at 1am this morning, saw damage across the city.
