WATCH: Inverness named as having one of the cheapest pints in the UK. What do you think of this?

A new survey has shown that Inverness drinkers can enjoy one of the cheapest pints in the UK.

While in some parts of the country they would have to fork out £6 for just one pint of beer the average price in the Highland capital is half that.

Alongside Inverness the average price in Derby is also £3 followed closely by Kingston upon Hull at £3.32.

The survey was carried out by comparison site Finder compiled a list of which cities offered the cheapest beers and what the average pint costs.

We took to the city streets to see what you thought of this. Is it a good thing or a bad thing that Inverness has one of the cheapest pints in the UK?
