The Highland Wildlife Park team have released the first pictures of Honshu the Japanese macaque on his safe return after being recaptured this morning.
The youngster has caused a global stir with his five-day great escape from his enclosure.
But it all came to an end when he was caught snacking at a birdfeeder not far from the wildlife park, and keepers were called in.
He was hit with a tranquilliser dart to bring a close to his time in the Cairngorms wild.
After a health check, he now appears to be in confinement before he will be reintroduced to the troupe.
The footage shows him sitting back where the big adventure all started, catching up on his food intake after some pretty thin days out in the Kincraig areas.
Birdfeeders proved a tough nut to crack for the young snow monkey and the locals were being asked to hide any edible stuff away from him in the home that he would head home.
Since his great escape on Sunday, Honshu has being making national headlines in the UK and even overseas.
Today's This Morning was even interrupted to reveal the news that the runaway had been caught with show host Rylan Clark expressing his relief.
He told viewers that he would be able to sleep again now that Honshu was safely home.
Rylan is, of course, no stranger to the strath having had a big adventure himself last winter when he endured an epic trek in the Cairngorms to raise money for Big Red Nose Day Challenge along with fellow TV stars Emma Willis and Oti Mabuse.
