Dozens of keen shoppers turned out to the opening of The Food Warehouse shop in Inverness.

Many queued from the early hours to be in with a chance to get a first look at the store in the Telford Retail Park yesterday.

Early birds were also given the chance to win some top prizes including free shopping during a 90-second trolley dash.

Carrie Watts (46) was one of the lucky ones to get a winning ticket and she managed to stock up ahead of Christmas with various goods stuffed into her trolley.
