William MacDowell (80) has been sentence to life imprisonment, with a punishment period of 30 years, for the murder of Renee and Andrew MacRae in 1976.
He was wheeled away following the sentencing at the High Court in Inverness after being found guilty by a jury of the murders of Renee and Andrew MacRae.
