AS the vote of no confidence for Boris Johnson scheduled for this evening approaches, we asked people in Inverness what they thought about the current leadership situation at Downing Street.

The vote was announced after the chairman of the 1922 Committee of Conservative backbenchers, Graham Brady, had informed No 10 the threshold had been reached and enough Tory MPs now supported a vote of no confidence in their leader.
