The city centre was full of vehicles from yesteryear, turning the heads of motor lovers of all ages at the weekend.

Organised by Inverness BID the Inverness Classic Vehicle Show was in town for a 13th year on Saturday, providing plenty of spectacle and a touch of nostalgia for many.

A parade of vehicles took place in the High Street while there was also the chance to get closer to a number of vehicles featured at locations across the city centre during the day.

Margaret Laws of BID said the event brought a real "buzz to the city centre throughout the day.
