A Marybank resident has captured images of the former Clachnaharry care home after the building was ravaged by a huge fire yesterday (April 19).

George Finlayson was on his way to work in Inverness at 5am when he first saw the fire.

After finishing his shift, he noticed it was still smouldering and firefighters were still at the scene, so he decided to fly his drone above it and captured birds-eye footage.

It took 17 hours of work for fire crews to extinguish the blaze and bring the area back to safety yesterday.
