The latest proposals for reducing traffic on Academy Street are being shown to the public this week.

As the Courier reported yesterday the plans have changed somewhat from those revealed before Christmas, with new bus lane elements added and the public have the chance to find out more and offer their views in sessions being held at the Spectrum Centre.

Highland Council's principal traffic officer Shane Manning talked about the thinking behind the scheme and how it will work.
