WATCH: Black Isle sheep finds silver lining in Storm Babet's grey clouds

STORM Babet brought grey clouds of despair for many in Ross-shire and beyond over the course of a soggy weekend.

The transport system struggled to cope, some people were left stranded en route to where they were trying to get to and weekend fixture and event cancellations came thick and fast.

But this sheep on the Black Isle certainly found the silver lining when it spotted a significant patch of flood water in which to frolic in the Culbokie area.

It was spotted and filmed by Julie Dinwoodie's delighted daughter, Elise, from the back garden of their Rowan Drive home.

The flood frolicking sheep didn't need to be asked twice before plunging in for a dip in this outdoor baa-th.

It was posted on the Findon Hall Culbokie page with the title 'Every cloud...'

Julie said: "My daughter, Elise, filmed the sheep from our back garden yesterday afternoon. It totally brought a smile to all our faces especially in light of all the other serious posts about flooding.

"This wee sheep seemed to be loving life in spite of everything else going on! More than happy for you to share to brighten someone's day!"

Another local observer, Barbara Gray, wrote: "That sheep was having a great time but the rest of the flock thought she was crazy! Very funny!"
