Ward at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness re-opens to new patients

A WARD at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness has re-opened its doors to new admissions.

Ward 2A closed on November 16 due to several patients with symptoms of diarrhoea and/or vomiting.

It was unable to take new admissions until patients had been symptom-free for 48 hours and a deep clean had been carried out.

A spokeswoman for NHS Highland said the ward had re-opened over the weekend.
