A banner has been put up on Ness Bridge telling people to stop eating animals if they want to stop the coronavirus.

The handmade sign was placed on the side of the bridge in Inverness city centre on Monday morning.

It reads: "Want to end pandemics? Stop eating animals."

It is not known who placed the sign on the bridge.
