Voting opens for new Inverness Chamber of Commerce board directors

Members of Inverness Chamber of Commerce are now able to vote on the appointment of three new board directors.

The business organisation has five nominees in the running for the three available posts. Votes can be made online with the ballot closing on April 19 at 5pm.

Nominees include: Jamie Forbes, director of engineering at Mabbett; David Howarth, managing director at iDE8; Victoria Park senior regional sales manager at UK North AC by Marriott Inverness / Hotel Co 51 UK; Stéphane Portès, general manager at the Drumossie Hotel; and Gavin Ross, managing director of SGL Carbon.

A spokesperson for Inverness Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are delighted to have received five nominations to join the Inverness Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

“As there are currently three vacancies on our board, we are holding a ballot in which, as a member of Inverness Chamber of Commerce, you are entitled to vote. The ballot is being held online and the result will be announced at the AGM on Friday 26 April.

”A huge thank you to all five nominees for being willing to put themselves forward, eager to work with us as we set our strategy for the next five years, and keen to ensure that Inverness Chamber delivers all the services that your business needs.”
