Volunteers sought for piping event

AN appeal has been made for volunteers to get involved in Piping At Forres.
They are key to the success of the annual event and registration is now open for those who want to lend on June 24 at Grant Park.
Lesley Dyson, who volunteered there for the first time last year, said: “I absolutely loved it, it was a fantastic experience, I would not have missed it for the world.”
There are jobs that suit all abilities, before, during and after the event.
During Piping At Forres, the European Pipe Band Championships, volunteers are asked to work in teams interacting with the visitors, selling programmes and helping keep Grant Park looking its best.
Help in setting up and taking down the event is also requested.
