A triathlon event in Nairn is in need of volunteers. It is the first time the Nairn Triathlon has been included in Scotland’s National Series.

Organisers are excited because it will be the first time the swimming stage will be held in the open sea followed by cycling and running.

But more bodies are needed to make sure the event can be staged and the organising committee would love to hear from anyone who may be able to offer a few hours on the morning of Sunday, July 24.

It is also the first time there will be a class for wheelchair users.
