A crew from Loch Ness RNLI was called out on a rescue this afternoon.

The lifeboat was launched at 3.43pm.

Although the incident is now completed, details are not yet available.

The RNLI established a lifeboat station on Loch Ness in 2008 and during this time, the volunteers have completed a variety of rescues and saved lives.
