VIDEO: Christmas Countdown - Day 24 of looking back over previous Christmas events

Every day in the run up to Christmas we'll be looking back at events from festive periods in recent years.

With this Christmas being like no other, we wanted to try and put smiles on faces as we count down to the big day.

Day 24 - On the final day of our Christmas Countdown we thought, what better way to finish our countdown off, than with a video from the winner of last year's Christmas Carol singing competition.

Our readers voted for Cauldeen Primary School to win, with their Primary 3 pupils singing Mary's Boy Child.

We went along to Cauldeen Primary School to surprise the pupils and announce that they had won the competition.

They were kind enough to perform their Christmas Carol live for us.
