PICTURES: Christmas Countdown - Day 16 of looking back over previous Christmas events

Every day in the run up to Christmas we'll be looking back at events from festive periods in recent years.

With this Christmas being like no other, we wanted to try and put smiles on faces as we count down to the big day.

Day 16 - Today's pictures come from last December when Santa and his reindeer marked the beginning of the festive season in Falcon Square.

Santa was joined by the cast of Eden Court's Beauty and the Beast pantomime to keep the crowd entertained.
