A vaccination centre in Inverness is relocating to the Eastgate Centre from this Monday (April 4).

The service, previously provided at the Business Park at Highlander Way, will now be delivered on the first floor of the shopping centre where NHS Highland’s Musculoskeletal (MSK) physio team have been based since Christmas.

The physio service will now move as planned to a newly refurbished location at New Craigs Hospital.

Louise Bussell, NHS Highland’s Chief Officer for Community Services, said: “We are pleased to confirm that the Vaccination Centre will be based in the Eastgate Centre in Inverness from Monday, 4 April.

“This is an ideal location for many people given that it is in the centre of the city.

“The centre will continue to operate six days a week to allow us to continue to vaccinate large numbers of people each day.

“Please continue to check the NHS Highland website for dates and times of COVID-19 vaccination clinics.

“Many of the clinics are now drop-in and do not require an appointment.

“Vaccinations remain the best way for us to protect ourselves, families and communities from COVID-19.

“Please ensure you are fully vaccinated to provide the maximum amount of protection against this virus.”
