Police officers are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses after receiving reports of concern for a person on the Kessock Bridge.

The police, RNLI and Coastguard were called to the scene on Tuesday between 8pm and 8.30pm after being alerted to concerns for a woman in her late teens to early 20s.

She is described as being of slim build, with medium-length brown hair, and is thought to have been wearing a top or jacket with white sleeves.

Acting Sergeant Danielle Jack said: "Our extensive inquiries into this incident are continuing and we’re urging anyone with information to come forward.

"If you were in the area of the Kessock Bridge on Tuesday evening and may have seen the woman, or potentially have dashcam footage from the area, please contact police.

"Inquiries are ongoing to establish the identity and whereabouts of this person and we would ask anyone with any information to contact Police Scotland quoting reference 3397 of 12 July, 2022."
