UPDATE: Missing Highland woman is 'safe and well' after last being seen in Inverness

A missing woman has been tracked down 'safe and well' according to police.

Police said there was growing concern for Theresa Townsley’s welfare and asked the public to help find her after she was last seen in Inverness city centre yesterday.

But 41-year-old from Tain is no longer missing.

A force spokesman said: "Theresa Townsley (41) has been traced safe and well. Thank you to the public for their assistance."
