UPDATE: Missing Inverness woman Louise Macintyre traced

Police have confirmed that a woman reported missing in the Highland capital earlier today has been found safe and well.

Thirty-seven-year-old Louise Macintyre had been last seen around 5.05am on Thursday morning in the city centre.

A police spokesman said: "We can confirm that Louise MacIntyre, who had been reported missing from the city centre area of Inverness, has been traced safe and well.

"Thanks to all who engaged with our appeal."
