UPDATE: Missing Inverness woman traced

Police at Inverness have found 32-year-old Connie Gordon following an appeal to the public for information issued last Sunday. (Aug 13)

At that time Ms Gordon, also known as Connie Watkiss, had been last seen on August 11 in the Merkinch area.

Police said that then concerns were growing for her welfare, as it was unusual for her not to be in touch with anyone for this length of time.

However today (Wed Aug 16) a brief statement was issued saying she had been found and thanking those who assisted after the public appeal.
