A man has been taken to hospital following an incident on a roof in Inverness.

Police had closed a section of Longman Road between the roundabout at Harbour Road and the roundabout at Rose Street multi-story car park after being alerted to the situation.

The road is now open again.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended a report of a man on the roof of a building on Longman Road in Inverness at around 7.45am on Saturday, August 27, 2022.

“There was no risk to the wider public and the man has been taken to hospital.”
