UPDATE: Man taken to hospital after accident on Inverness road

Culloden Road was temporarily closed after a one-vehicle crash earlier this afternoon.

The incident, involving a motorcycle, happened at the junction of Culloden Road and the B9177, which leads to Drumossie.

The road was closed while police officers dealt with the incident but reopened at around 3pm.

They later confirmed that a man had been taken to hospital.

No details were available on his condition.
