UPDATE: Man taken to hospital after road traffic accident near Tore roundabout on Black Isle

A MAN was taken to hospital for treatment after a single-vehicle accident near the Tore roundabout on the Black Isle this evening.

Southbound lanes had been restricted following the accident at Kilcoy around 5pm.

Police said a man had been taken to hospital for checks and the road had reopened.

Meanwhile difficult driving conditions are being reported on the A835 in Wester Ross where a number of vehicles have become stuck in heavy snow.

Traffic is reportedly moving and gritters are working at the scene.
