A 41-year-old man has been charged following a three-car crash in Nairn yesterday.

Police were called to the incident which happened at the junction of the A96 with the B9092 at 3.10pm.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A 64-year-old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital and released following treatment.

"A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection."

Traffic was blocked in both directions following the crash.
