Traffic Scotland is advising motorists to find an alternative route as the A9 at Kessock Bridge is still closed in both directions.

A spokesman said: "The Kessock Bridge remains closed in both directions due to a police incident.

"Police are in attendance and managing the traffic.

"Take care on approach and use an alternative route if possible."

A police Scotland spokesman added: "The Kessock Bridge is currently closed as emergency services deal with an ongoing incident. There is no threat to the wider public."
