UPDATE: Diversions in place after A82 closed between Drumnadrochit and Inverness after incident involving HGV

Diversions are in place after a lorry overturned close to Torvean golf course on the A82.

The road is closed between the A82/ A831 Drumnadrochit junction and the A82/ Telford Street junction in Inverness.

A signed diversion route has been implemented.

Northbound traffic: in Drumnadrochit turn left onto A831; turn right onto the A833 at the A831/A833 Junction; turn right onto A862 and continue to Inverness and rejoin the A82.

Southbound traffic: turn right onto A862; turn left onto A833; turn Left onto the A831 at the A831/A833 Junction and then rejoin the A82.

Diversions in both directions are 26.5 miles.
