UPDATE: All lanes northbound on A9 are clear following a collision near Daviot earlier this afternoon

Traffic Scotland has reported that a blockage on the A9 has now been cleared.

It followed a collision at 1.20pm near Daviot which involved two vehicles with one person taken to hospital.

They have since been removed and a spokesman said: "All lanes now running Northbound at Daviot following an earlier collision

"Traffic slowing in the area however should ease off shortly."
