11:15am: The A9 has partially reopened following an earlier closure caused by a lorry fire south of Blair Atholl.

Confirming the partial reopening shortly before 11am, Traffic Scotland warned motorists to still "prepare for delays" in the area as 'stop/go' boards were being used to direct motorists.

News that the road was closed both ways first emerged shortly before 9am when Traffic Scotland informed motorists about the fire, which took place between Killiecrankie and Blair Atholl.

Three fire engines are understood to have attended the incident.
