UPDATE: A82 fully re-opened after Loch Ness side road crash

The A82 is now fully re-opened to traffic after a road accident just north of Invermoriston.

The route was closed to traffic in both directions after the collision shortly after 4.30 pm today.

The route re-opened to northbound traffic after 6pm and traffic is now able to move in both directions.

Traffic Scotland's social media reported: "(Traffic is) now running in both directions under traffic management following the earlier collision. Traffic coping well in the area tonight."

No further details of the accident have been given at present.
