UPDATE: A82 clear after one-vehicle accident near Loch Ness

A section of the A82 near Lochend was blocked earlier today due to a one-vehicle accident.

Traffic Scotland alerted people at around 4.50pm and notification of the incident has since been removed from its website indicating the road is now clear.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 4pm on Sunday, July 16, 2023 we were called to a single vehicle crash on the A82 near Lochend.

"Emergency services attended and recovery of the vehicle was arranged."

Officers are no longer at the scene.

It is unclear if anyone was injured.
