Inverness Airport is among the bases that are set to be impacted by industrial action.

Members of Unite the Union at several of Highlands and Islands Aiports' (HIAL) bases are set to strike for three days later this month.

Action from 12.01am on February 21 to 11.59pm on February 23 is being prompted by a dispute over pay.

The impacted airports are: Inverness, Barra, Benbecula, Campbeltown, Kirkwall, Stornoway, Sumburgh and Tiree.

A spokesman for HIAL said: "We are currently liaising closely with our local teams and airlines to determine the impact of this industrial action and the potential disruption for passengers, and will post further updates and information on our website and airport social media channels.

"Meantime, we would advise passengers who intend to travel on these days to keep in touch with their airline."
